Spent two magnificent weeks on São Miguel and have now changed islands to Terceira. Went by catamaran from Ponta Delgada to Praia da Vitória yesterday, and it’s quite nice here too. They say that of all the Azorean beaches this one is the best one, and that might be right. Not as stony as the volcanic coves I went to on São Miguel, it’s just sand here.
Been raining here today though, but that doesn’t really matter much. There are several cozy beach restaurants, and the beer and food is a lot cheaper compared to Ponta Delgada. The atmosphere is also a lot more laid back. Just perfect.

Will stay over the weekend hoping for some better weather.
